                                          Jute

Jute is a kind of fibre.It is got from the bark  of a p;ant called jute plant .It grows six to ten feet high .The plant has little green leaves .It gros well mostly in moist low land .So jute grows in our country in plenty .Jute also grows in West Bengala and Assam.The farmers first till the land properly in the month of April .They sow the seeds after a little showed of rain.After two or three weeks little planets grow.Grasses and weeds are rooted out .After two months the planets attain their full six .They are then  cut down and put into water for several days .When they rot they fibre is taken  away and washed in clean water .It is then dried in the sun .In this way jute is msde ready for sale .

Jute is very useful thng to us .Many things are made of jute .It is used in making ropes ,bags mats and cloth .The stalks are used as fuel and fencing .Jute is a great wealth of Bangladesh .It brings much money for us .The progress of our country depends much upon jute .So the present Govermment have taken various steps.
